Amanda: I guess it's about how you define yourself and I don't feel defined by my career, although it's a very important aspect of who I am at the end of the day.
Amanda: I was a huge Mike Nichols fan as a girl growing up, I wanted the opportunity to study with him.
Amanda: I am so lucky to be working with the four actors that I am in-house with on my show.
Amanda: I remember at one point my mom had to call the school for me.
Amanda: In that very early version of the scene, there was a lot more medical jargon. I called my dad for pronunciations. When I ended up getting the job, I think he felt like he was a part of that and obviously he was.
Amanda: I missed a ton of school.
Amanda: It’s a really precious, lovely and rare thing to feel a strong sense of collaboration in this industry in Hollywood and television especially.
Amanda: My mother can be very convincing when she wants to be.
Amanda: Obviously I have no recollection of doing these commercials, but apparently I was a child in the shopping cart with my mom, I believe that’s how it worked.
Amanda is 5'4" (1.63m).
Amanda's mother is a nurse, Sandra Loncar.
As a child, Amanda lived in Trinidad, until her parents' divorce.
