Adrienne: I'd like to be able to look back on my career as a body of work. I don't want to play the same girl over and over. I would love to have enough control over my career that I can guide where it's going and help pick the projects that I want, perhaps even be able to dictate who I do projects with, because I think the best directors and actors you can work with make you not just a better actor but also a better person. I'd like to be able to say that I've worked as much as I've wanted to work, done a lot of projects that I'm proud of, and also that I've been able to do good work that people will remember.
Adrienne: Career-wise, I just love being an actress. I love the challenge of it. I like how it's different every day and every character and even every performance. I love how it takes so many people working together to make it really work. I'm so analytical and organized.
The entertainment business seems to run in Adrienne's family. Her sister Tracey is an actor, writer, dancer and director while her brother Daniel is an actor.
Adrienne has stated that she became very good friends with Xena co-star Gregg Lee (Virgil).
