Adrianne: It was very cold. That’s what I remember most. It was like 30 degrees and breezy and there were like 20 people there but, you know, it wasn’t a big deal.
Adrianne: My psyche has been very impacted in that there are moments where you’re, like, ‘Do I really want to do this?’ Though I know in my heart this is what I really want to do, the question was: would I enjoy the process itself?
Adrianne: When I lived in New York for those three months, I needed to see a play every week, because eventually that’s where I want to end up.
Adrianne: And to work with Mr Woo, he’s just the most amazing person. He’s Yoda, the master of what he does.
Adrianne: [Smallville producer] Greg Beeman used an analogy that kind of helped me through the process, which is that Kara’s an angel who comes to Jesus, who is Clark, and is telling him what he’s going to be, with Jor-El being God. So throughout the entire thing she’s the messenger, sent to help Clark see what he needs to see, because he doesn’t know the full extent of his powers yet.
Adrianne: I would love to do Broadway, I don’t think there’s anything more amazing than theatre. Okay, Supergirl is number one. Maybe I could be Supergirl on Broadway! That would be perfect.
Adrianne (about Katie Holmes): She was in high school. She sent in a tape as an audition. She wouldn’t go in to test because her school was doing Damn Yankees and there was no-one to fill in for her, but they postponed the test for her and then she got the part.
Adrianne: At that moment, I knew what I had to do.
Adrianne: You don’t really grasp the idea of what it’s really like, but I’m glad it didn’t happen right away, because the experience of going through the process has only benefited my acting.
Adrianne: So, coming from that and seeing that as the only form of reality I knew from the business, I was, like, ‘I’m going to go to Los Angeles and in a month I’ll be doing movies or a show.’
Adrianne: I used to watch Lost In Space with my dad.
Adrianne is 5'11" tall.
